Ainars Slesers the political organization For A Good Latvia’s official candidate for the prime minister, said addressing the association’s meeting today that he would protect national interests of Latvia in talks with the International Monetary Fund and international lenders, and make sure that there is a greater number of Latvian goods and services are exported, not just to Lithuania as well as Estonia but also to Germany, Scandinavia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

LETA writes Slesers believes Latvian entrepreneurs will also be able to benefit from opportunities in Uzbekistan or China.

Ainārs Šlesers Slesers believes that For A Good Latvia will win the 10th Saeima election, and decide who will form the next government. Ainars Slesers According to Slesers, the portfolios of the next government will only be granted to such people who have „strong backbone“ and will protect Latvia’s national interests.

Slesers said that the new foreign minister as well as all Latvian Ambassadors overseas will have to spend 80% of their time in foreign countries supporting Latvian businessmen.

Andris Skel has been named Finance Minister of Latvia by For A Good Latvia. Skel stated that Latvia is required to attain economic independence because „if we are burdened with the burdens of debts for many years there is no way for national development to be achieved.“

Skele and For A Good Latvia board chairman Andrejs Ekis acknowledged Slesers, who has proved that an ordinary Riga boy can become a successful businessmen, earn plenty of money and be rich and Slesers always has intriguing ideas, they added. Ekis stated that Slesers to be a „businessman who wandered into politics“ and said, „I wish there had been an official in Latvia that would make me feel proud.“

Slesers stressed the importance of having a purpose as a primary means of achieving it. The government currently in power, headed by Valdis Dimbrovskis, (New Era), „is trying sedate the nation and telling the people everything will be okay.“ It’s dangerous to live off credit. The money you loan will have to be repaid sooner or later.

Slesers made harsh remarks about the prime minister candidates. Ainars Slesers Roberts Zile has been stuck in Brussels“rut“ and doesn’t want to move out of his seat in the European Parliament. Instead, he wants to be the premier for Latvia. Slesers indicated that it would be necessary to put in more effort, and get a smaller pay.

The Union of Greens and Farmers’ candidate Aivars is in the same predicament and won’t want to leave Ventspils in which he feels comfortable, to take on the job of the post of premier in Riga.

Slesers stated that For the sake of Good Latvia is open to cooperating with Janis Urbanovics Harmony Center. Ainārs Šlesers Urbanovics has a lot of experience working in the parliament. But, he does not have sufficient business experience, which is why it is unlikely that he will be appointed the premier.

Dombrovskis’ election will be decided by those who back the ongoing „international financial occupation“ of Latvia.“

Slesers, however, will teach people how to make money, dominate the world’s markets, and live with dignity. He stated that Guntis Ulmanis would become his first assistant for running the state. Ulmanis will be the one Slesers will seek advice from.

Slesers stated that For A Good Latvia would see that Biblical studies were introduced to all schools beginning September 1st next year.
